Obituary of Mary Arlene Bell

August 15, 1951 – Swalwell, Alberta

December 22, 2021 – Irricana, Alberta

 

Mary Bell (nee Hagel), beloved wife of Fred Bell, of Irricana, AB, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the age of 70 years.

 

Mary was born in Swalwell, AB, and resided in the Beiseker area her whole life.

 

Besides her husband Fred, Mary is survived by her daughter Debby Bell of Airdrie, AB her four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Tom and Susan, Doug and Donna, Steve and Joanne, and Keith; and two sisters Rosalie Schwartzenberger and Delores Hagel.  She is also survived by Fred’s children, Rick and Tracy, Darcy and Sonya, Jim and Carolyn, and Marie.  Mary was predeceased by five brothers and her sister. 

 

A Private Family Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery (Beiseker, AB). All friends and relatives are invited to attend the Reception on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Beiseker Community Centre. All those who attend the reception will be asked to provide valid government identification (with name and date of birth) AND confirm one of the following: (A)Provincial vaccine record with QR code (paper or digital); OR (B)negative COVID test (within 72 hours); or (C)valid medical exemption (signed letter); OR (D)under 12 years of age.

 

Family and friends who are unable to attend the Funeral Mass in person are invited to join Mrs. Bell’s Mass streamed live (see below) on the day of the Funeral Mass. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed here.
