Condolences
We are so blessed to have Sid, Nora and their family in our lives. They were one of the most caring and lovely people that we know. We will never forget your beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, and all the helped that you and your family have given us. Thank you very much. You will forever be missed.
Worked with Sid at both City of Calgary Electric System and Enmax. Played baseball with Sid and he loved playing the game. Both Sid and Nora were lovely people. Condolences to the family.

I know Sid from his daughter Kim who has been my best friend for around 50 years!
Sid was such an admirable, fun and generous hearted person.
It was always very enjoyable to go with Kim to visit Sid, Nora and Kim’s step sisters.
I have such good memories of all these visits.
Sid will be so missed by so many as he was a amazing father, husband, friend and very valued member of the community.

So sad to hear this news. I worked with Sid for many years at the Electric System and then ENMAX. He was a lovely man who was well respected by everyone at work. I send my most sincere condolences to Sid's family. Lang may yer lum reek Sid!
I loved Sid and Nora and he (they) will always be missed by our family. Sid eagerly made my Northern Saw-whet Owl project so much better for everyone by putting his electrical skills to work to devise a way to provide us with power for our nightly project. Each time I arrive at the site and plug in the light and turn on the radio call, my grateful thoughts go to him with my forever thanks. I love looking at the pictures of all of us laughing and enjoying nature and our beloved dogs throughout the many years we worked together both at Southland Natural Park (now known as Sue Higgins Park) and other city projects that needed volunteer hands. RIP Sid - love never ends.
