Condolences
My deepest condolences to Sherrie and her entire family . I heard lots of great things and I had the chance to meet her a few times. I remember her smile and laugh while sitting in the Lido Cafe, a favorite spot of hers. The love she had for her children and her grandchildren. My heart goes out to all of you. She is now with the Angels, looking down on each of you.
My most heartfelt condolences to Dawn and all of Sadie’s family. Sadie filled Ernie’s life with love, mirth, and joy. Together again.

I will always be thankful and appreciative to Sadie and Ernie for making Adina and I feel so welcomed as their next door neighbours and how they made us feel like part of their family. Whether it was talking to Ernie in the back alley or receiving hand delivered Christmas cards from Sadie. I will miss her conversation and spirit and the love she showed us. My condolences to all her family for she was a treasure.
I always enjoyed visiting my Dad and Sadie, she would often had some issue with one of her computer games and I loved our conversations while I fixed her computer. Sadie always spoke about her family and how much she loved them and the joy they brought to her and dad. Sadie had the gift of unconditional love and will be missed by all that knew her.

I will never forget how Sadie cared for Ernie all these years. She would call him her “Dickie Bird” and he would refer to her as his “Little Chickadee”. Sadie’s genuine heartfelt love for Ernie was evident in everything she did. She truly loved him with all of her heart. Sadie and Ernie are together again. Their love for one another was timeless and enduring. These love birds are once again united in heaven as they were in life. I will miss your laughter aunt Sadie and how your face would light up when you spoke of your family and friends. I am comforted in knowing that you are now in the arms of your Ernie…and that somewhere you are laughing with your Dickie bird in heaven. Norma (niece)
Sadie was a beautiful soul, one of a kind. She touched many lives including ours. We were neighbours for many years and will never forget Sadie and Ernie. She was "Nanny Sadie" to our daughter Olivia, who has known her since she was born. They shared many good memories: "Sometimes I would go over to her house on the weekends. She often had Chickadee or Owl magazines and we would do the crafts in them."
Sadie's friendly spirit brought together the neigbours on our street. She gave so generously of herself. Her handmade birdhouses attracted praise from all who passed on the street. We think of her every time we walk past the crabapple tree she lovingly tended for so many years. On fine days Sadie would sit on her front steps, watching the world go by. We could count on Sadie and Ernie to keep an eye out for the neighbours. One time I came home from work and Sadie told me she had told off a woman who was trying to help herself to plants from our front yard! She always was a feisty one!
Rest in peace, Sadie. Say "hi" to Ernie for us. Both of you will always live on in our hearts.

Sadie made me laugh a lot she had the best sense of humor. I could also talk to her about anything like she was a very good friend or Mom to me. I am sure that she is making everyone where she is now very happy and laughing a lot as well, especially Ernie. Me and my family will miss her, she was one of the good ones and one of a kind. My condolences to all of her family and friends, please try and stay positive, Sadie would want that.
