Condolences
Condolences to Sylvia, John and all of Rosa's family.
I am saddened to have lost my friend Rosa. I have many fold memories of expresso with a wee bit of something special added. Those coffee meetings always started with a tour of her gardens in the summer months. She was so proud of her giardino. And she had an amazing way of coaxing beautiful blooms from her plants. I shared many family moments with Ross sharing pictures of her loved ones. Through those picture meetings I know she has a beautiful family who truly love and care for her.
I will miss the stories she told me of her family and beloved husband Carmine. I feel truly blessed that I know this wonderful person. She had a heart of gold.

Sylvia, John and Families,
The funeral service was beautiful and I love the photo selected with her signature hair-do. What I remember and love about Zia Rosa was her passion and excitement, especially when it came to family and cooking. When I went to Calgary, she would ask me what I wanted to eat when I was going to be at her place for supper and of course the food was always delicious! I loved when she shared pictures and she always had lots to share. I still laugh when I think about her infamous traffic stop and giving the police officer a piece of her mind. She told people how she felt and she stood up for her beliefs. She will be greatly missed by us, but I know my dad and all the other family members who passed away before her, welcomed her and are rejoicing at the reunion. I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Jeannie L'Amarca

Bella la foto che avete scelto. Zia Rosa la ricordo proprio così. Ero piccola e lei venne in Italia, amava tanto raccogliere i suoi capelli. Un giorno lei raccolse anche i miei capelli in un lunga treccia, era estate, eravamo sul balcone di casa. Sembra ieri... Ma sono passati tanti anni...
Carissima zia Rosa la terra ti sia lieve
Our sincere condolences to Silvia, John and your families. Zia Rosa was kind, generous and welcoming, and she always made us smile. She went out of her way to copy some old family photographs, which we cherish today. God bless her and may she rest in peace.

Aunt Rose is a remarkable woman that we will all can share many stories. Perfect photo selected, and the memories of her getting her hair done on Saturdays, or the memory of her in rollers, and her sisters or the hairdresser making that lovely up-do.
I am so glad that Aunt Rose came out to Vancouver spent some time at our place, enjoyed the dogs, our garden, the, the goats, the chickens, and the tomatoes in the garden. Aunt Rose loved our fig trees and enjoyed the fruits of love.
We love you and miss you

My deepest condolences to you all on the passing of your very kind, loving and vibrant mother, grandmother, aunt and sister.
So very sorry for your loss.
Silvana, John
Some of my favourite memories of your mom include her making pancakes for me when I slept over and going to Cochrane to scavenge mushrooms and getting ice cream afterwards. She was always giving to others -- she was such a gem. We will miss her dearly but at least now she's reunited with the love of her life, Zio Carmen. Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Riposa in pace Zia Rosa.
To the Neuert and Grossi Families
Our most sincere condolences go out to you. It is always so difficult to lose a parent.
Zia Rosa, in her time was a force to be reckoned with. She kept her brothers and sisters on their toes at all times but always meant well. We often say that if you encounter an issue “be like Aunt Rose” and tackle it head-on. Our best memory of her is our last dinner with her at her house and we will always remember her at that time – happy to be in her element.
We will miss you Zia, be at peace.
My deepest condolences to Silvia,John and your families. My memories are having chats while she was at her hair appointments. Aunt Rose always had family stories which she always shared photos as well. Loved having dinner at her house which always followed with playing a game of cards. Good for some laughs. We will miss her in many ways. Rest In Peace

Sylvia, John and Families,
What a beautiful photo of Zia Rosa and a fitting tribute. She truly was remarkable… fierce, independent, energetic and full of life! She had a heart of gold and was always cooking delicious meals for our family. My favourite anecdote about Zia is when she would call me, and it always went like this: “Allo Maria? Zia Rosa here” like I would not know who it was. We will keep her, and all of you, in hearts and pray that you take comfort in that Zia is reunited with Zio Carmine, her parents and brothers and sisters.
Love, Mari, Chris, Greg and Brian
