Condolences
We so enjoyed having Connie as our across the street neighbor. She was such a bright charming woman. What a lovely tribute to her with the Celebration of Life held at Riverside Golf Course. It was said she loved all animals, and it was said had a soft spot for all of them. Truly Brodie, our collie knew this. If he was out in the front yard watching the neighborhood, he'd pay special attention to any sign of movement across the street. He'd wait patiently for Connie to come over (sometimes with a toy!), so she'd play catch with him. Drop the ball, she'd tell him, and he would. Not for anyone else though. She'd say, I've got to go, just one more, and then another 10 minutes before she'd be off on her way. "I'll be back tomorrow" she'd say to him. Somehow he knew she would be. That's how we will always think if her - with a jaunty wave and I'll be back tomorrow. Yes she will. Bev&Bill
Ed I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Connie and I were friends for many years back in Ottawa. She was a remarkable person. Fun to be with. I also worked for the Royal Bank and just found out about Connie through the quarterly newsletter that the bank puts out. I regret not visiting you and her when I visited Calgary. Our daugther has lived in Calgary for the past 10 years. Once I did phone her when I was there but never had time to get together. We had a lot of good laughs over a few drinks. My condolences to you and your family. Carl Rogers, Kingston, Ontario

Dear Ed & family. Debbie and I are very saddened to hear of Connie's passing and wanted to express our condolences to both you and the family. I had the privilege to work with Connie both at the south commercial center and again in my role in risk management where Connie and I travelled the province hosting classes for newly established account managers. Connie had a way of making everyone feel at ease and I think back of the laughs we had hosting those sessions. Connie was the epitome of an exceptional banker and Royal Bank was extremely fortunate to have had Connie in their employ for so many years. Connie was loved by everyone that came in contact with her and she will be dearly missed. Ed, our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family during this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require assistance with anything. Stephen & Debbie Moshonas.
I'm so sorry, Ed, to heard of Connie's passing. I have fond memories of Ken and I on the cruise with you both out of New York years ago. We had such fun and I remember how Connie loved to laugh, have a beer (or two!), and play Trivia. Hang onto all the wonderful memories that you and Connie made together to comfort you during this very difficult time. Thinking of you.
