TROTTIER, Constance Irene

July 29, 1946 – Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

January 13, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Constance (Connie) Trottier-Boychuk (nee Fisher), beloved wife of Edward Boychuk, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the age of 75 years.

 

Connie was born in Dartmouth, NS, on July 19, 1946. Her family resided in France for a time before moving to Ottawa where she graduated Hillcrest High School in 1964 and attended Carleton University. She began work at the Royal Bank in 1968, starting as a teller and rising to become both a bank manager and a commercial loans officer. She moved to Calgary, AB in 1980. Connie married Ed in 1992.

 

She was a member of the Rotary Club and volunteered at Spruce Meadows along with her husband Ed. Connie was an expert bridge player, a pilot, and avid golfer. Connie accomplished much throughout her life and was particularly proud of getting her pilot’s license and her four holes-in-one.

 

Besides her husband, Connie is survived by her two sons, Sean and Keith; her stepdaughters, Launa and Donna; her daughters-in-law, Marineth and Allison; and her grandchildren, Marisea, William, Joseph, Autumn, and Jenna. Sean and his family reside in Milpitas, CA; Keith and his family live in Ottawa, ON; Launa is in Calgary, AB; and Donna lives in Victoria, BC.

 

Connie is also survived by her brother Glen, sister Marlene, and their families who reside in Ottawa, ON. Connie was predeceased by her sister Fran in 2020.
