Condolences
Jean and family. Sincere condolences.. John and I worked together so many years ago. He made work fun. John was a great mentor to so many. We played ball in the insurance league which was so much fun. It was great to have you and John back in my life.
My condolences to you Jean, and your entire family.
It was a blessing to know John. He made a difference in people's lives and I am glad I got to visit with him at Father Lacombe. My deepest Sympathy to Jean and family.
My Condolences Darryl on your Fathers passing. My sympathy to Izabela and the entire family. I remember first meeting your Dad when you lived in Braeside. He really wanted me to sit and have a Pepsi with him. He was so proud of you and everything
you accomplished.

Good Morning, Jean!
I just read of John's Passing and wanted to extend my condolences, prayers and best wishes for you as your embark on the difficult journey of life without your partner, soulmate and best friend of more than 61 years.
I hope it helps just a little, that I (and Joyce, I'm sure) are with you at this time.
Blessings,
Al Pollock
It was a privilege to spend time with John at Father Lacombe in my capacity as a volunteer. John truly enjoyed playing cards and bingo as well as participating in many worship services. He always had a smile on his face. My deepest condolences to Jean and the family.

I am so sorry for your loss, Jean, and for myself since I was not able to share the friendship with John for the past two years. I will treasure the memory of coming into FLCC for Bible study and seeing you and John sitting together in the foyer: just being together - lovely. Blessings on you John, and peace. I am grateful to have known you.

So grateful to have met John as I work at Father Lacombe.
I will have fond memories of him and his gentle ways always a smile, a thank-you and picked up my hand and kissed it.
Thank you for gracing my life John .
You will be forever missed, Tara
So very sorry for your loss! ❤️
It was always great to see his wonderful smile whenever I saw a post on Facebook! My thoughts are with you all!
Uncle John was indeed one special soul, a soul dearly missed by so many whose lives crossed his over the years, from his earlier years criss-crossing southern Alberta to his legion of fans at Father Lacombe a lifetime later.
Us cousins have so many fun memories of family vacations in the Okanagan, visits back to Braeside, (and Baba and Dedo) in Calgary, and especially John's cool downstairs den and office.
Our dad Arthur bragged of teaching John how to throw, catch and hit the ball, then being amazed and humbled by how quick his little brother's skills surpassed his own.
John owned third base, much to the chagrin of rival teams' batters, whose hopes of scoring he dusted with too much ease.
John's passage left a big hole in all our lives, and especially his beloved Jean, Leanne and Darryl.
But we all know where to find him.
Grinning at third base.
Love, Brent, Lynn and Leah
I am so thankful to have had my Uncle John in my life. He had a special way about him, enjoying the moment, everybody’s friend. I loved spending time with him, and love him dearly, as he loved us all. Thank you, John. Love, Leah ❤️
