Sarah Payne passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 107 years.

Sarah was born in Calgary, AB on March 2, 1914, to parents William and Margaret Howells. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shirley, Marjorie, and Jim (Dianne) of Calgary. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and her sister Margaret of Calgary. Sarah was predeceased by her husband of fifty-three years, Clarence Payne, in 1993.

Sarah’s family would like to thank the staff of Providence Care Centre for the compassionate care given to her during her time there.
