Condolences
Terry's Family
Terry really enjoyed the SAIT's ALIVE functions and helping whenever possible. He will be missed.
SAIT's ALIVE (The Association of Retired and Former employees of SAIT and their spouses) extend their deepest sympathy.
Terry was an absolute gem of a human being. I live across the back alley from him and when I moved in, as a single mother, he kept asking me if I needed help fixing or setting things up. I absolutely did! So, he put together my kids dressers and helped with other fix-its. I remember, last summer as he was working in his garage, he’d good-naturedly retrieve a few plastic baseballs for my boys and coach them to “Keep [their] eye on the ball”. Another neighbour’s kids called him the “grandpa of the neighbourhood”. He was always so kind and always had a smile and wave to give to us - my kids and I already miss seeing his friendly face. Our condolences to all grieving his loss.
Still miss Mr. Collin. His kindness, his smiling were impressive. Every time when I drove past his garage door, I wished he could be there...... How great Mr. Collin is!!! Believe that he would be happy in the heaven because he could meet his life long loved wife again.
His kindness, generosity and support has been felt by three generations of our family. The neighborhood won’t be the same without him. May the peace of God be with you and your family.

I enjoyed sharing rides and Goldwing Club meetings with both Terry and Betty. I remember Terry stepped up to be Chapter Director of the Goldwing Club during a time of unrest at the Club. He did well to smooth tensions of the time. He will be missed greatly.
I really got to know Terry and held him in high regard after he became Department Head. After retirement, we saw each other fairly often at the MPC monthly breakfasts. I was even more impressed by the compassionate way he spoke of Betty during her decline.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences!
