Condolences
Our heartfelt condolences to Chris and Heather and families. We feel your loss and are here for you guys in whatever manner that may, including spending cousin time in the Maritimes.
Jane and Robert and I have shared in the hospitality and generosity that Bruce was so well known for and bestowed on many. All of us ventured out to Calgary in our youth and experienced the down-home acceptance of the MacLaren household. This not only included the great meals and parties but also the garage building, roofing, furniture sales, truck driving, deliveries and the odd tip about negotiating. All tools to live by for the rest of your life.
Love to all

We had many great times with Bruce and Betty over the years. Bruce was the best neighbour ever. If you ever needed anything he was sure to have it in his garage! He will be missed.

Dear Heather and Christine and Families,
It wasn't long after we were relocated to Calgary from Edmonton by my company when we first met your Dad and Mom at an event at Al Azhar. And it wasn't long after, under some gentle encouragement by your Dad, when I became a member of the Al Azhar Greeters. So many good times followed and now we are blessed with many good memories. We are so thankful for having met Bruce and Betty.
Dody and I send you our deepest sympathy at this difficult time. We share your sorrow.
Sincerely,
Wes and Dody van der Lee
