Condolences
So very sorry to hear of Norma's passing. My own Mum passed 10 years ago and shortly after, I bumped into Norma at the Superstore. She said, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum Val, I'll be your second Mum if you need one. We both had a wee cry, bless her. A beautiful lady she was inside and out. I loved listening to all her stories of youth. Her families garden, her Dad working for the railway, her sisters whom she cherished and the dances she would go to with "her Danny". Norma loved showing me her old family pictures and WOW what style she had. Her high waisted pants, swing coats - she should have been a model. Her memory of her youth was so clear then. I guess you never did finish that other mitten Norma. We had a bet that you would knit the match. What talent she had. I looked forward to our wee visits which were sadly cut short with COVID. Our sympathy to Vaughn, Daniel, Kathi and the family, you had a lovely, kind and caring Mum. Geoff and Val Dunlop
"Vaughan, Kathi and Daniel and family, My deepest Sympathy in the passing of Sweet Norma. I worked both in Recreation and at Reception at McKenzie Towne when you Mom resided there. I have many fond memories of my time with Norma. She was a lovely storyteller and had a smile that would light up a room. I will always cherish my time spent with Norma. She shared the same name as my Nana. I am very thankful I was able to know your Mom. Wishing you all comfort in your memories of your Dear Mom.
My Thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. Hugs, Tracey Woodworth"
