Condolences
Hello to the Large Extended Family of Ann Konno,
I want to send my Sincere Condolences to all of. you. You had a vey special Aunt, as I'm sure you all know. Ann was a nurse on Unit 71 at the Rockyview, where I taught MRC/U nursing students for many years. I could always count on Ann's mentorship of the students who were caring for patients, where Ann was the senior. She always had a quiet, and calm demeanour. Nothing seemed to faze her. I did not know her well outside of this setting, but I know she was a great friend to all the wonderful staff of that unit. May she 'Rest in Peace'.

My family and I had the privilege to know Ann. My sister and Ann were in training together. Donna , Ann and other nurse friends would join us in Montana for a mini holiday. Lots of laughs and good eating happened. Ann and I would exchange quilting plans and recipes. Sincere condolences to Ann’s family and friends. Gail (Losey) and Roy Hummel and family. Milk River,Ab
I had the pleasure of knowing Ann for over 40 years and also working with her for many years at the Rockyview Hospital on 2East and Unit 71. Ann was an efficient, smart, kind and compassionate nurse and also a good friend. Among other things Ann will be fondly remembered for the preserves she made, the beautiful handmade cards and crafts and also the fancy desserts she would make and take to our potluck dinners. I will always remember her laugh, her generosity and her thoughtfulness but most of all her presence in our lives.
Our sincerest condolences to Ann’s family and friends. She will greatly missed.

Sad to hear of Ann's passing. I had the opportunity to work with Ann at for a number of years at Rocky View Hospital. I will always remember her calm demeanor and professionalism at work. Also had a chance to golf with her at Buffalo Run but realized I was no match for her skills. However, it fun times. Her presence will be missed at our retired staff coffee get together. My sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. Rest in eternal peace Ann.

I was sorry to hear about Ann's passing and losing her battle to liver disease. Ann was like a member of the Kaita family in Winnipeg, and she was like an aunt to me. I remember how much she loved and took pride in her blue Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible. She would take my sister and me for rides and we felt like royalty in the back seat. She was a kind and giving person. The last time I saw Ann was at my father's funeral in June 2016. It was so nice that she and her good friend Irene to have taken the time to attend his funeral. In honour of Ann I have made a donation to the Canadian Liver Foundation. May she rest in peace.
We had the pleasure of having Ann as a close friend for over forty years. I was fortunate to have worked with her at Rockyview Hospital for many years, and she was a vital member of our circle of work friends.
For the past 14 years we were extremely grateful that Ann conscientiously looked after our house while we were away on our travels. We were the happy recipients of her excellent salsa, baking, canning, and an occasional delicious piece of peach pie.
Her cards were so lovely they became keepsakes.
We had an enjoyable trip with Ann to Mexico to visit friends in San Miguel de Allende, and later she came to visit us in California. We have many happy memories with Ann of golfing, going out for sushi and having weekly talks on the phone during Covid. This past summer we spent a memorable day in Kananaskis country with Ann and friends. Ann was a dedicated friend and we were so fortunate to have her in our lives. We will miss her very much. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
