Condolences
Just reading this now. So sorry for your loss. Fond memories of uncle Lewis and family.

Louie was not only an uncle to my wife Barb but a dear friend to me. For well over 40 years we would visit as often as we could, to make the trip to Calgary to see the family. To all who knew Louie, he had a quick wit and charm to him. He was one of a kind to be sure. We all loved him dearly and will miss his humorous retorts. I can only imagine what he would say to our comments. Well we love ya Louie.
Our sincere condolences to Marjorie and the entire Sutherland and extended family.
He was a great man, always in my thoughts, I will
Miss him dearly.
I remember all the great times we had in Anne and Dana’s house. The weekends we all had together when the kids were younger. You were always the life of the party. My sincere condolences to Marg, Dan and Anne and everyone else in the family
I will always remember and cherish the times I spent with you as a child, you nicknamed me slammin Sam and I always loved that and will never ever forget it. I always looked forward to seeing you. I know you will be missed by many. We send our deepest condolences to the family.
I had the pleasure of working with Lew when I was General Manager for Canwel Building Materials in Calgary back in 2009. Lew was a pleasure to be around, and was a dedicated member of the Calgary team. He is fondly remembered. To Marjorie and family, I offer my sincere condolences. I will keep you all in my prayers.
God Bless,
Tom Murray
Saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend Louie.
Never forget some of his famous one-liners, and although he could be a tad mischievous, he was a great and kind hearted man. Louie was a huge tennis fan and we often got into it when Feder would face off against Nadal. Always a smile on his face and a kind word on his lips. When I started with CanWel in 1989, he was one of the first I befriended.
Over the years we sort of lost touch with each other after he retired from CanWel in 2011 but I thought of him often and will miss his smiling face. I loved you like a brother, so rest easy Louie.
Our sincere condolences to Marg and the entire Sutherland Clan during this very difficult time.
May God comfort you and give you peace.
Ken & Kerri Neufeld.
Grandpa you will be missed. I’ll never forget all the laughs we had, or your stories, or your crushing hugs when I was a kid. To say you were one of a kind would be a massive understatement. Love you gramps
You were the best grandfather. You always knew how to make me laugh and made me feel loved. I remember the bear hugs as a kid, talking about cars, and most of all he was always ready to listen and give advice when needed. Not judgemental and always made you smile. You don't know how much I love ya...rest easy grandpa
Dad, I can’t believe you are gone. I will miss hearing your voice every day. I will miss your big hugs and sweet smelling aftershave. You taught me pride, to be a hard working woman and so much more. You are gone from this earth Dad but you will always be in my heart. I love you….
We are sorry to hear of your Father’s passing, Sheri and Michael. Sending love and sincere sympathy to you and your family.

To the best father in law a girl could ever ask for. I have 45 years of memories with you and it’s still not enough. There will always be a piece of my heart just for you. You will be thought of often and missed every day
Rest easy
So many special memories and moments we shared dad, some soo funny some serious. The love you have shown me throughout my life has tought me how to love. The belief you had in my ability to succeed gave me the courage to try. I will do my best to comfort mom and encourage her to try new things to keep her happy and engaged. I will miss you every day. I will cherish every memory of you.
So many memories. You as a young man , me as a child , your son . You with your steel lunchbox, me with my ice cream. Learning from you how to be a man / a father , learning to love unconditionally . The things that cost nothing but are priceless, you gave freely.
Our journey to from the East to the West of this country, I will never forget. The hard times and the good . The father you were to my wife when hers was far away. So many times I needed a friend , you were there .. no questions , no judgment, only love . These things I take with me and give away to the ones I love .
So many have known you . But I knew you . The inside. As good a man as there ever was or will be .
Good night sweet boy
Daniel
I feel so privileged to have had a grandpa like him. He always made me feel special and loved. He was never shy about telling us how much he loved us and his big bear hugs could solve any heartache. My favorite memories of him often include sitting around the kitchen hearing him tell jokes and listening to his booming laugh. I love you grandpup, thank you for showing me that love and family are what count. You’ll be so very missed but never forgotten. Love Lauren, Brad, Willow and Kai xoxoxoxoxo ps - writing this reminds me of his freakishly nice hand writing… and how I didn’t inherit that trait
