Condolences
Phyllis, Val and I were so saddened to hear of Don’s passing. We have so many memories of our winter golf trips together both in
Santa Maria and Carpenteria. So many good times both on the course and the 19th hole.Great times with good friends. Sincere
Condolences from us both.Val and Bill
Many years ago we had Christmas dinner with Don and Phyll while we were all living in New Orleans and Bruce and Don were with Shell.. Then Phyll and I crossed paths again at CBE. Bruce also enjoyed working with Don in the early sixties in Edmonton. We send sincere condolences and treasure our memories.
I offer my sincere condolences to Phyllis and family on Don's passing away. I worked with Don at Shell, mainly when he was
involved in maintaining Shell's oilsands leases. After retirement from Shell I would see Don at the annual retirees AGM meetings
and run into him at the grocery or hardware stores. In the grocery store he would buy green bananas to show how optimistic he
was about life. In our conversations about golf, he said he never worried about the score but just enjoyed being out in the fresh air and playing the game. Don was a first class guy and will be missed.
