Condolences
I knew Andrew from the time I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England in 1969. He was a good friend to me in my first years in the Church. Although I never served a mission, I did visit Andrew three times while he was serving in 1970 and 1971, and got a taste of missionary work. I have always been keen on Family History and it is through Family Search that I learnt of his passing earlier this year. After Andrew emigrated to Canada and met Sue, I made the occasional contact, and sent him a card for his 70th in 2017. I heard three years later that Andrew had been suffering from Parkinson's disease but had visited England and Jerusalem in recent years. I'm so glad he came to England for his mother's 100th birthday and I note from Family Search that he was sealed to his mother and father a year after his mother died. My mother died in 2014 and I was sealed to my parents in 2015 - a lovely experience. I always found Andrew to be a loving person and friend and I am sure he is now sharing the Gospel on the other side of the veil with his ancestors. I loved hearing Andrew's voice...always so calm. Andrew I is kind and encouraging; a great example to me. I loved it when he would say hi to me at church.
Our thoughts and prayers go out for Sue and their family.

I very much enjoy knowing Andrew and his dear wife. I will always respect how hard he fought against his disease and
what a good nature man Andrew was despite his on-going hardship it cause him .
Andrew and his wife worked very hard on their ancestry line and countless people have been helped on their journey on the other
side of the veil.
I am thankyou that Andrew has finish this part of his journey and now with family and friends.
I feel the Lord looks very kindly to a saint such as Andrew who has endured such hardship for so long.
Our best and love to Sue and her family at this time.
