Condolences
Although we met Ed only a few times on Great Northern Mountain in British Columbia, he had a special appreciation of the mountains and the 'great outdoors'. It was heartening to see those around him share in that admiration - and we mourn with you in your loss.

The service for cousin Edward was very special. Your selection of country songs with photos & videos was heartwarming. The pictures of your family dogs & other animals with their names was of particular interest. Edward would have been moved by the wonderful & funny accolades spoken of him! Our poignant memories of Edward include his time shared with us on Vancouver Island. He furthered his interest in antiques by opening a collectible store, and he took pride in becoming a businessman. Although he loved living on Vancouver Island, he loved his family and friends more, and returned to Calgary after a few years. We have always been amazed by his tenacity to forge ahead against insurmountable odds. He was always willing to try something new and would rarely give up on a challenge. Edward was a remarkable, unique person who will be greatly missed! Thinking of all of you with much LOVE. Ray, Phyllis Thurlow and families.
We are really going to miss Edward and Calgary just won't be the same without him. We were so glad to be able to share in the service by live streaming. It was an amazing tribute to a great guy and it brought back so many memories of all the fun times we spent together. It's comforting to have those memories to hang onto. Our deepest condolences and sympathy to all the family. Edward's love for all of us and our love for him will last forever. Love is the answer.
Thinking of you all today and special hugs to Auntie Verna. And, yes, we did need the kleenex. It was good to cry for our dear Edward.
With love,

I am honoured to have been able to have joined the live streaming of cousin Edward’s celebration of life. You all loved him with an extraordinary love. He was a character indeed and his love for his family will be deeply missed. But he created a legacy of love for his family with so many amazing memories. Thank you for sharing is and letting me get to know Edward more! ❤️ Gwennie
Our sincere condolences to the Peebles family. Edward was a great man and will be forever missed. May the Lord have mercy on his soul and may the Lord help all of Edward's loved ones heal in this time of need. Was a beautiful service. With Love, Frank Cerato & Family.
Do not stand
By my grave, and weep.
I am not there,
I do not sleep—
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
Do not stand
By my grave, and cry—
I am not there,
I did not die.

Hi Cynthia, Karen & Auntie Verna
We are so very sorry about Edward. He had his many struggles but he perserved more than a lot of others with less needs. He was very optimistic with what life handed him. Our sincere condolences for the loss in your family. With much love, Ray, Phyllis, Gwen, Carrie and the rest of our family, Vancouver Island BC
Our deepest condolences Cynthia and family.

Please accepted our condolences to family and friends. Cynthia, our thoughts are with you.
Deepest condolences to family and friends. Ed was an intelligent, interesting individual and worthy chess opponent.
We are sorry to hear of the Loss of Edward, he was such a kind and wonderful person. Edward enjoyed his bingo's and each and every time he attended Renfrew Bingo, he could not wait to connect with my Dad(Peter) to share something of interest to them both, whether it was his collection of coins, political views, gold mining, or even Aliens (haha) the two of them could sit for many moments and share their stories. Edward was always a happy soul, polite, honest and caring, he treated his Mom with kindness and love, he loved his family very much!
I remember Ed from long ago , he’s the big brother the protector of his family ,he was in a sense a big brother figure to me for many years before I moved away with my own family his sister was my closest friend from the age of eight to present day . I remember them getting a colour tv in 67 ,and feeling they were the luckiest a colour tv ! . ED You suffered much to be with us, I hope a simple prayer can help you in heaven to be pain free walk freely almost the angels And find those who passed before you, then my friend you will find eternal happiness and rest .
I will always remember Ed at bingo. You always knew when he was going to yell bingo hey hey then he would yell the loudest bingo
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Our condolences to his mom Verna Peebles,
His sisters Cynthia and Karen numerous neices and nephews. RIP Fast Eddie
