It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Betty “Jean” Hedley. She passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the age of 83 years.

A wife, best friend, mother, and grandmother. Jean is survived by her loving husband Bob; daughter Delree and Alan Proctor (Kyle & Chelsey), son Gordon and Susanne Smith (Lucas & Jenna); stepsons, John Hedley (Lauren & Eryn) and Tony and Krissy Hedley (Katie, Jessica, Jaime and Evan); brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Betty O’Bray; brother-in-law Dave Hedley.

She was predeceased by her parents Bryan and Margaret O’Bray.

Jean was a heavy emotional person and not one for large gatherings. In keeping with her wishes, there will be a private family service. She was a very special lady, and we ask that you remember her in your own way. Thank you to everyone for your kind words and condolences.
