Condolences
Carol was brought into our Wednesday golf group several years ago by her good friend Ann McNabb. She was such a wonderful addition to our group bringing such positive energy, a beautiful calming spirit, the most pars always and willingness to become our terrific golf organizer. Carol was a great golfer, lots of fun, a very smart, kind, friendly and giving person, a fantastic friend to many and simply all around lovely, warm person and always with a big smile and big heart. I enjoyed conversations with Carol and recall how proud and fond she was of her daughter, Merissa, son Chris, Daughter-in-law Rebecca and grandchildren. Carol touched the lives of so many. Carol was a work mate and dear friend many years ago. She recommended meditation to me which I still practice everyday, she was a calming and caring bright spark. Her positive and joyous presence helped me through many a rough day. We are diminished by her loss. John Moloney, Vancouver Island
We were saddened to learn of Carol's sudden death. She was always so hospitable and friendly to us when we visited in Calgary and we enjoyed several visits from her in Ottawa. A bright light has gone out. Sincerely, Barry, Joan and Gordon Dewis
Carol was a wonderful friend, Mother and GrandMother who had a heart of gold.
She was a loyal friend, teammate, golfer, leader and adventurer.
She had a calm way of listening empathetically resulting with profound solutions making all those around her happy.
We knew when she was excited and happy as she would have a twinkle in her eyes and a big smile.
She was very proud of Chris and Merissa. Chris's family and her grandchildren brought her joy. She was delighted to share pictures and their successes.
Carol was a wealth of information and great organizer on travels or local events.
Carol will always be our angel with a twinkle in her eye.
Love and Hugs, Ann, William, Kari-Ann & family
Clouds may cover a rainbow but each time we remember its beauty and warmth, the clouds dissipate.
Chris, Merissa and family, may you have health and healing.

Very sorry to hear of Carols passing. Carol was a brilliant light in everyone’s life. We met through Nikken and she was alway gracious and inviting even into her beautiful home. She will be missed by many!
It is with profound sadness that Jim and I received the news of Carols passing. She brought such positive and expansive energy to every room she entered. We had the opportunity to come to know Carol over for several years we shared experiences in Nikken where she was so dedicated to advance the well-being of others. Carol, your life truly made a difference for so many. God speed.
My deepest condolences to Carol's family. She will be greatly missed by so many people!
She was a wonderful and important friend to me. She always listened and had excellent advice. She was positive, energetic, and laughed easily. I will always remember the sound of her voice when she would proclaim "Fantastic!" and clap her hands, with a large smile on her face, at the slightest good news. Carol was such a bright light in this world, and in my life.
My heart is broken that she was taken from all of us so suddenly, and much too soon.
Carol and I travelled to Ireland and Scotland together, and I couldn't have asked for a better travel companion. She and I were both in awe at every place that we visited, and she was very patient with all of my photography. We were looking forward to more trips together. But she was called away to become the Guardian Angel for her next grandchild (at least that is what I believe).
May you gain strength from all who loved Carol, to help you through these difficult days.

My very best wishes to Carol's family and friends.
I knew Carol through TM. Many times Carol hosted parties and celebrations.
One of my fondest memories of Carol was at one of these functions.
I was with a woman from Quebec, who didn't speak English very well and was bit shy meeting the large number of new people.
Carol hooked up with her and they sat talking with animation, laughing and enjoying each others company.
I always thought the best of Carol. The words classy and caring come to mind.
Lotsa Love,
Paul Colver
