Condolences
So many great memories of times together growing up with the Mayer family. I will always remember Ken’s great smile, his contagious laugh and his love of taking photos. Deepest condolences to all his loved ones.
Dr.Mayer was my dentist for 35 years. He was so much more than the greatest dentist I have ever known. He not only cared for the smile but also me as a person. My condolences to his family and friends. I will miss you Dr. Mayer and may you Rest In Peace ❤️ Sheila
I am sorry to hear that Dr. Mayer passed away. He had been my dentist for much of my life. I remember as a a child, holding a mirror watching him drill. Also, the lava lamp that decorated his office for many years.
For many years we lived next door to Ken, Trudy, Christa, and Chad in Lakeview. I actually remember when they moved in; a nice family with two sweet kids who were younger than we were (me and my older sister and younger brother). They were wonderful neighbours and I remember many summer afternoon conversations over the fence between Trudy and my dad. Ken was always pretty quiet (compared to Trudy and my dad - aka the extroverts), but I remember his big smile. He smiled a lot and that was so nice - he had such a great, positive, energy that even as a kid I could sense. We are all so very sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mayer family during this sad time. Dr. Mayer was a very kind man and he will be missed.

Our prayers are with you and your family. Ken was one of the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable family historians I ever met. He always made me laugh at his stories. It was always great to catch up with Ken when we went to the Dentist. He will surely be missed.

My condolences to Dr Meyer's family and friends from our family. I remember him speaking at Christa and James' wedding. He shared wonderful stories and his deep love for his daughter that very special day. I will never forget how he made me smile ear-to-ear.
Our sincere condolences to Dr. Mayer’s family. He was our dedicated dentist for decades until his retirement. Believe me, it wasn’t easy being my dentist…I was a difficult client (Ilyne) so his extra tender care and compassion was greatly appreciated. He truly was a caring dentist and a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and all his friends.
Sincerely,
George Bates & Ilyne Zacharias
I am so saddened to hear of Ken's passing. Dr. Mayer was my dentist for more than 50 years until his retirement. Although I didn't always enjoy having to get my dental work done, I always did enjoy chatting with Dr. Mayer as he always had time to chat.
My sincere condolences to Ken's family,
Fran Esler, Calgary
Dr. Mayer was our family dentist from 1986 until his retirement. But he was more than our dentist, he was a caring man who was interested in what was happening with our family. A visit to the dentist was never rushed as Dr. Mayer had time for a visit before looking after our teeth. He always went above and beyond, even going so far as to escorting our daughter down to the car from the office in Gulf Canada Square and getting her settled for the trip home, after the extract of her wisdom teeth. He was so very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by many.
Our sincere condolences to all the family and loved ones of Dr. Mayer. Our family trusted him totally as our cherished dentist for 30+ years. Our kids adored him and always looked forward to their visits. They said he was kind and patient and was like an uncle or family. The world has lost one of the best and he will be missed but will be greeted with open arms in Heaven. Rest in Peace Dr. Mayer, our friend and devoted dentist.
