Condolences
Terri, Shelley and Karen,
I was so sad to hear about the passing of your dad. Uncle Rick was a very special man and embodied the qualities of a warm
gentle, caring wise soul. I have such cherished memories of him and our many family gatherings. Many years of Christmas dinners
picnics and holidays, I remember feeling more at peace when in his presence and the joy of his laughter. He will be truly missed by all those lucky enough to know him. I wish you and your families much love as you move through the days ahead. I hope the love that surrounds you gives you comfort.
Holding you all in my heart and prayers.
Cindy Swift
Our deep and sincere sympathy to all your family at this sad time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Helen Turgeon and family
We send all the family our very sincere condolences at this sad time. We share in your sorrow as we also loved Rick and treasure the friendship we had for over 40 years. Rick was kind, wise and always helpful. We have so many good memories of times spent together with holidays in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and the Panama Canal cruise and also our golf games and the many lunches and dinners.
We hope you can take comfort in knowing that you gave Rick your unwavering love and support when he needed it most. Rest In Peace Rick. You will be missed
With love to all the family.
Shirley, Iain & Steve
Uncle Rick was such a kind person to myself growing up. I have many fond memories of him including playing the guitar and the little blue VW bug. Such a genuine person that always asked about others. Terrie, Shelly and Karen, what a gift to call him Dad for all these years. Thinking of all of you, and the many times we spent together.

Our deepest condolences to the wonderful, caring family at this sad time and know you have happy memories to carry you through the dark days ahead . Rick was so very proud of his family,
We too have so many memories of the Richards - socially , and as friends and neighbors for 58 years . Family camping , special dinners and coffee on the deck are foremost in our minds.
Rick was such a loveable , gentle man , but had a strong determination to do everything he could to make things right .That must have been the Saskatchewan in him !
Tony will miss the visits he had with Rick and we will miss not seeing the colored lights he left on at night , at the back , to let us know he was o.k. He will be in our thoughts for ever.
Our love and blessing to all the family at this sad time.
Tony, Darlene and family and Joyce (in Nelson).
My deepest sympathies to Rick’s family. Rick was a great if my dad’s and he was dad’s best man. It meant a lot to both my mom and dad when they came to see dad the summer dad passed away. It truly is hard to lose our parents. Take care and hold your fond memories close.
