We were very saddened to hear of the passing . Always enjoyed his presence at the arena in our younger days. Our deepest condolences to you all
Gord, Colette, Cameron, and family. I was very saddened to read of Colin’s passing. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Colin back when Gord and I worked for Canmar, Gord spoke of him with great pride. It appears he led a very full life and I know that you will cherish his memory as he lives on in your hearts. My deepest condolences to the family.
We are so sad to see this news about Colin, it has been many years since we knew him and your family closely but we have wonderful memories. And from this announcement, we see he had many joys in life, sounds like he was an awesome young man. May he rest in peace. From Jacquelynn and the Nielsen family
I am sorry to hear about the loss of Colin. We went to High School together, and he was such a happy person with so many friends. I have many memories of Colin, and will always remember him for his smile and good natured attitude towards life.
Gord, Colette, Cam, & family... I am so sorry for your loss. Colin will always be remembered as an incredible person and one of the strongest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
It was always such a great time hanging with Colin in our early days causing trouble at Etherington, to the later years where we would sit around and share a few beers and laughs with him in the sunshine at that same campground.
When I saw Colin last, we were in Windermere and he was judging (completely fairly) the Bocce Ball Tournament. Just before that, Colin and I sat in the kitchen and shared a lot of laughs, mostly at Gord's expense, but all in good fun.
I will miss Colin. We didn't see each other often, but each time we were able to get together, it was always comfortable and the laughs were flying within minutes. Rest in peace, my friend.
To the McIvor Family, We are so sorry for your loss. We only knew Colin as a baby and toddler, where we shared new parents stories, and experienced the joy he brought to you. Sounds like he became a wonderful man filled with love and perseverance. May your memories and love for each other carry to you through this sad time. Though we are far apart we hold you all in our hearts. Love Barb and Bob
