Condolences
Dearest Joan,
I was sad to learn of Norm's passing. He was a true gem of a man. My many memories of him (and you) during my time with the Westside Singers will be of kindness, laughter, joy and humility. He will be missed by all who knew him! Please accept my sincerest sympathy. I pray for peace and comfort for you and your family.
With much love,
Susan Woodward
We were saddened to hear of Norms passing. We had the pleasure of living next door to Norm and Joan in Parkland. They are both wonderful people and we missed them when they moved. Norm and I shared many a conversation while doing the yard work and my daughters adored him, as I believe he did them, as well. Our deepest sympathies to Joan, and the entire family. Norm will be missed but never forgotten.
Joan,, Karen, Greg., Don & families My deepest Sympathy to all of you. Norm's passing leaves a big hole in this world. Not only for you the family but wherever hiss smiling presence was. His laughter and singing are wonderful memories. So sorry to miss the service, but my heart will be there with you and I'll see you a little later Joan. Blessings & Prayers, Wilma
To dear Joan and all of Norm's family we send our heartfelt condolences on the loss of a very fine man. We first met Norm and Joan in the mid-eighties when we and they were fellow congregants at Deer Park United church. I sang with them in the church choir and Andy and I got to know them better at choir gatherings. We bonded as friends. Even after we moved out of the Deer Run district and transferred our membership to Red Deer Lake United Church, we would still see and delight in visiting with Norm and Joan whenever we attended an event at Deer Park. We loved Norm's sense of humour! He enjoyed a good laugh, but never at anyone's expense. Norm was kindness personified. We know he made the world a better place, and he will be dearly missed by many. Joan, we send many hugs. He will live on forever in our hearts, as we know he will in yours.
