Condolences
Dear families please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of a beautiful human being in Andy Hogg. I had the brief 9 month pleasure of working with Andy at Springwest Page Petroleum in Brisbane Australia. He had a great smile and always looked for the jovial side of a conversation. He often gave me a lesson on geology whilst John Stout helped me understand the stock market. I remember they were here in 1982 for the Commonwealth Games and it was a very windy day for the open ceremony. I happened to be walking up the grandstand to my seat when the wind caught my flared skirt which ended up under my armpits and Andy was buckled over with tears of belly laughter. Not cool Andy…I was his best entertainment for the day. I can well understand what a great loss he will be to everyone who loved and knew him. God Bless all.
Our thoughts are with Suzanne and Family today. We will miss Andy's stories around the back yard fire pit. We will also miss him on our beach vacations. He always made us laugh!
Suzanne and family,
My thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow. May strength find you and be your friend in your time of healing.
Andy will be missed by many none more than Nelda as she still asks about him every time we speak.
Take care and stay well.
Karin
Growing up I loved to visit Saskatoon, partly because of the visits to cousins.Andy always seemed to find time to join with his brother Jim and myself on our adventures-many of which got us into trouble! Andy’s fault! So pleased to get reacquainted with him and Susanne a few years ago. If we only knew how long we had, we would all reach out more. My condolences to everyone-we will remember him with love!
We are so happy that back in 1995 Andy became a friend. We shared many laughs, argued about things and most important shared many fun times. He was always there to listen and never judge. Rest In Peace…you lived the width of your life NOT just the length! Lov Susanne, Bar and family….
