Condolences
Dear Uncle Stan and Family,
Sending our love and sincere condolences to you all. It was always a pleasure to see and visit with Aunt Audrey at our Grandma Emma's birthday celebrations in Black Diamond, and it was so special to have Uncle Stan and Aunt Audrey at the dinner for the Henderson Family reunion in 2019 in Okotoks. I remember when I was little and our Mom was learning to drive, Aunt Audrey would come over to our house to help her learn and practice parallel parking, so kind, and patient teaching parallel parking!
Keeping you all in our thoughts and remembering the wonderful lady Aunt Audrey.
Love from Connie and Dan
She was a wonderful mother and always there for her family . We will miss her forever .
One of our favourite memories is when great grand daughter Ellie, finally learnt to crawl while we visited Nana & Grampa in 2015. She started crawling back & forth and we all cheered her on. Nana giggled with glee and was in shock that it happend in front of them. We'll never forget the joy it brought her and grampa.
There are so many wonderful memories of Mom that we couldn't list all of them but we would like to share a few of them.
Mom was the Best Mom a family could have, she was so generous, kind, caring, loving, fun to be with and always put our family ahead of herself. I had a wonderful life growing up & have only found memories of Mom. When we lived close to them in Haysboro I would get off the bus from work and stop in and visit Mom before I picked up Greg. Mom would always "happen" to have extra supper or some kind of dessert for us to take home or would have us for supper. We moved multiple times before we bought our house, I was always so disorganized but Mom made the move go smoothly. I was always so dependent on Mom and would speak to Mom multiple times in a day, either just visiting or asking for advice. If it wasn't for Mom I don't think I would have got through all the years when Greg had multiple appointments and surgeries. Mom would take Greg to appointments, sit with me all day at the hospital while Greg was undergoing surgery and then would sit with him at the hospital all day until I got there after work, even doing some overnighters with me. Mom always understood Greg so well, they got along so well, they would visit while Dad marshalled at the Golf course and Mom has always been a 2nd Mom to Greg. When Candy got Parvovirus she was sick but Mom offered to look after her all day while we were at work and with Moms attention and care she pulled through. We both Love Mom dearly, miss her already, but she'll always be in our hearts and thoughts. Mom I know you're missing Dad so much, but hope you can enjoy a new adventure, seeing your parents, family and friends again, walking around without assistance and having fun!!! I know you'll continue looking out for us and we'll always be thinking of you. Goodbye for now, but we will meet again. Lots of Love Karen and Greg
