Condolences
Lorne and I met at the London Flying club many years ago. We travelled together and flew places. We delivered Betty's car to Whitehorse as well as many other memories that I have of him, a great guy. My condolences and my he rest in peace.

Lorne was a joy - period! We met during my years as MLA for Egmont..he was one of our most conscientious workers on our 'team' of dedicated election all hands on deck and in the between elections. A fine man with a tremendous smile..a winning way as we pounded streets. We know each other wit regard to local issues and I appreciated his feed back...as MLA and as Speaker I was so very fortunate to have friends such as this Big Guy
My name is Libby Walton , Lorne was my family’s neighbour in Acadia since my sister and brother and I were 6,7,8, my dad still lives in same house beside Lorne’s in Acadia, have fond memories of Lorne , always loved when he would come over to our house every Sunday’s for dinner and to play Canasta. He was always known as Santa from my nieces and nephews when they were young kids, my dad would always say” you better be good this year Santa is watching from next door… Lorne would also buy a whole case of chocolate covered almonds from my brother and I when we were younger and bowling in the ybc at Toppler Bowl. He will always be missed and up in heaven keeping my mom company.. R.I.P Lorne you will be missed by all of us in the Walton Family.
I have fond memories of Lorne in his usual spot at the Blues Can & always received a good strong hug - a true gentle man with an appreciation for live music, a good sense of humour and a story to tell - My heart is heavy today, and I know yours is too.
My husband, Alex, and I thought the world of Lorne. A nicer, gentler man you couldn’t hope to meet. He was a fixture at the Blues Can. He helped many a young person that I know of. He was generous to a fault. We will miss him greatly. Many condolences to his entire family. Pamela Knox
He was a regular fixture on our skeet and trap ranges at AHEIA's facility in Dwinton. He always had time to say hello and share in camaraderie. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lorne's family. Bob Gruszecki
I was one of Lorne's skeet shooting buddies at the Calgary Gun Club (now AHEIA) in the 70's, 80's and 90's. We also did some hunting, fishing and socializing together. Unfortunately, our paths didn't cross in recent years.
Many fond memories of strong fellowship developed over the years sharing our passion and love of the outdoors and shooting sports.
