I am so saddened to hear of Father’s passing but how appropriate to pass on the anniversary of his ordination. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in my heart. A donation will be made to the seminary fund in his honour.

My baptism certificate from St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Cardston, Alberta shows that Fr. Petravicius baptized me . I was able to locate him about 7 years ago and had a very nice phone conversation with him. He told me that he believes I was his first baptism. I also remember my mom and dad mentioning him in passing. He was well respected and loved. May Fr. John rest in peace.
