Doris was always a sweetheart to my husband and I. She helped us decorate a house, was willing to take us out to look at decorating options and had great ideas to decorate on a small budget. Over the years both Doris and Dave treated us as family and welcomed us to various events, especially Christmas parties. Always it was a family affair with children and adults invited to wonderful afternoons of food and special gifts for each persons as well as an exciting event-sleigh rides one year and hot air balloon rides another. An awful lot of care and attention went into making each event just that, an event. Doris excelled at perfecting each detail and welcoming each person as though they were just the person she wanted to see.

Her southern hospitality made a big impression on us. She will be remembered with a smile and warm memories.
