My heartfelt condolences to all of Kay's family and friends, and she had many over the years. Norm and I were next door neighbours to Kay and Vern for twenty years in Canyon Meadows and even shared a "happy hour" gate between our backyards. Our family was younger than theirs and still at home for some of those years. They silently put up with all kinds of teenager shenanigans, and we in turn, were happy to help them out in any way we could. We valued their friendship over those years and all the years since. May you rest peace, Kay, now with Vern, as well as Norm.

What a beautiful tribute for a lovely lady!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kay (and Vern) over the years as, I worked with their daughter, Joan. Each time we met, they were so kind and welcoming and made me feel like one of the family. Many of Kay's characteristics, noted in her obituary, are ones I see and admire in her daughter and granddaughter (Alana). I share this to honour the legacy, Kay leaves behind of caring, incredibly capable yet humble women who would do anything for their family, friends and community. Rest in peace, Kay you've earned it!
