Condolences
The Hicks Family wish to extend sincere condolences to Judy and her entire family and to Bonnie in Saskatchewan, of whom we have heard so many loving stories over the years. Your loss is ours too.
Bill and Jean were the best people we could have ever wanted to have as next door neighbors. When Jean passed, it left a big hole in our lives. We have been fortunate to watch the Burns family grow up for over 35 years and have been included in most events. Bill has always been a very supportive friend and neighbour with whom we could share opinions on all that was going on anywhere in our worlds. When listening and advice was needed, he was always there for us. His friendships through easy-going conversations were a joy to take part in. The staff at Providence Care Home loved and respected him and we witnessed this every time we visited. Bill was a beacon of sensibility to all of us around him and will be deeply and endlessly missed.
Rest in Peace Bill. You've earned it.
Lovingly,
Ross, Pam and Kevin Hicks
I want to extend my deepest condolences to Bill’s family. I had the privilege of working with him at CIBC. He was an excellent manager and mentor and I had a great deal of respect for him. My husband and I visited him at the Mackenzie Town and Midnapore care facilities and always found him to be tuned in to current events and still very sharp in spite of his infirmaties. I’m so sorry for the families loss.
