Condolences
Madge was best friend of our beloved mother, Eleanor Bergquist, and after her passing continued to be a dear mother to Sharron (passed away in 2020), Gwen and Diane Bergquist. She will always be special to our hearts and will be dearly missed!
Madge has been a dear friend for more than 30 years. She was an incredible organist and musician. Condolences to all her friends and family. I will miss her enthusiastic presence at the 'Youth Singers of Calgary' mainstage productions. RIP Shirley Penner
Maurice, myself and girls send our deepest condolences to all of Madge’s family. Madge was a gem to know, so caring and thoughtful. Madge taught both our girls piano lessons many years ago and helped me with my choir. We are so grateful for having known both Madge and Earl. Madge will be missed. Rest In Peace
Dawn, Maurice, Michelle and Sara
I send deepest condolences and sympathy to all of Madge's family. She has been such a wonderful servant in the ministry of music for so many decades. I know you will all find great comfort in your memories of family times together and the wonderful music you shared. Please find great comfort in God's Easter Promise of Life Everlasting. There will be a mighty choir and organ music in Heaven now led by Madge. Blessings to all of you. Fran Van Sant Cormack
I remember Madge so fondly for several reasons. I took piano lessons from her for several years and babysat both Barbara and David. I enjoyed serving in the FBC choir with her & having her as a director several times. I also remember her & Earl travelling with my parents, Ron & Thelma in their very similar Okanogon Vans. She was a wonderful, delightful lady. May God give you peace with her passing.
Madge was a gift to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She really knew how to pull out all the stops on the organ and made that instrument sing! We’ve had many talks over the 40 years I’ve known her and she always provided a listening ear and compassionate heart - I am grateful to have known her.
Some of my fondest memories of Auntie Madge are when her and Uncle Earl would come visit our family home. She would play piano and I got to sing some songs with her. It was beautiful. She was an amazingly kind woman and an exceptional musician. She will be missed by all who knew her. Sending all my love to everyone especially Barb and David. Rest in peace Auntie Madge.
Love,
Jason Clarke
