Condolences
So Sorry for your loss Christine and Peter, Joe was a wonderful Man, Father, Husband God Bless Darren and Carole
Condolenses to Christine and Peter and family. I remember my second cousin with love. Joe was my firts boyfriend and I was going to marry him, I was about 4 years old! He would always play his accordian and I would dance around Auntie Bernice and Uncle Pete 's living room. I spent many fun hours at their home with my mom and dad. I would mess up his hair and kiss his forehead and I remember Brilcream in his hair. I have been very blessed to have such lovely people as family. I also, was not jealous when he married Deany , I thought she was beautiful ! I loved hearing her talk , she had an accent that lilted. It is comforting to know they are all up there enjoing each other again. Love to you both . your second cousin Darlene Tarnowski
A caring father, a loving husband, a mentor, a safe place to land. A true gentleman who led his life with class and grace. All that I know of Joe is through one brief meeting, a few very thoughtful calls but mainly through the words and stories told by his son Alaric. Joe was a fierce supporter of his son’s passions, creativity and well being. He was a hardworking father who cared deeply for his family. The giving, intelligent, emotionally brilliant friend I have in Alaric is a direct reflection of the type of people that Joe and Deany were and that is the BEST type of people. I am thankful to know this family and send my deepest condolences to all.
I Love And Miss You Both Dearly Mom And Dad, Now You Are Both Together Dancing In Heaven. Until We Meet Again.
Like so many here, I knew Joe through our shared love of music. He was a kind, gentle man who brought so much heart to all he did. He will be missed by many. My condolences.
What a great and approachable guy. I knew Joe through the Summit Big Band. He held the band together for years. And he loved his saxophones. My condolences to his family and many friends who I am sure will miss him dearly.
Condolences and deepest sympathy to Alaric and Joe's family. It was a real pleasure to work with Joe for almost 3 decades. He was a true Gentleman, loved and appreciated by everyone who worked with him. I don't think I ever saw him having a bad day. He will surely be missed.
My deepest condolences to Joe's family. I had the pleasure of working with Joe for many years at CFCN/CTV Calgary. His birthday was a day before mine so, we always exchanged birthday wishes- usually over the intercom just before the noon show started. As a rather timid director starting out, Joe was always the first to offer a kind word of encouragement that meant more to me than he ever knew. He was a professional through and through but, never too serious, he was quick to laugh and that made all of our jobs more fun. We also shared a love of playing music and once again, his encouragement was huge. Lovely man, I feel blessed to have worked with him. He will be missed.

I wish to share my deepest condolences to Alaric and family. I had the honour of meeting Joe and Deany in 2011 in Toronto and on several subsequent visits to the city. Joe exuded a wonderful warmth and gentlemanly nature and sense of humour. He will be missed.

Christine, Peter and family. We offer our sincere and deepest sympathy for the lost of your Dad. Uncle Joe was a kind, gentle, funny and easy going man. We loved him very much.
He is now with your Mom and I'm sure they are happy to be together again. They will be watching over you both. This quote says it better than I ....
"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.” Unknown
I believe this to be true.
Love Deloures, David and family
Dear Chris and family,
Vern and I send our sincere condolences at this very sad time. It appears your DAD lived a very happy and full life and with such great talent too. May you all be surrounded by love and fond memories of your Dad, who is now you Angel in Heaven xo Love Linda and Vern xo
My condolences to Joe’s family. I worked with Joe for many years in the studio at CFCN, an nicer person, better boss, and great friend you could not have. He helped me as a young man coming into the Broadcast industry, teaching me so much, with a gentle caring nature. There was no one at CFCN that didn’t like Joe and so many of us he’d helped thought the years. Even after I left CFCN, when ever I was in Alberta I would visit Joe at CFCN and he was always welcoming. As Dave Spence mentioned I always enjoyed his stories of Jazz, Jamaica and his lovely wife Deany, RIP my friend you will be missed.
My condolences to the family of an absolutely wonderful man. It was my privilege to work with Joe for a couple of decades at CFCN/CTV. There are no adequate words to express my appreciation for his friendship and guidance over that time. Joe started in television when I was five years old, so I had much to learn from him. It was Joe who showed me how it was done, offering help and advice so kindly over the years. No doubt, he had a similar influence on dozens, if not hundreds of co-workers. Just a great guy. A guy who cared. Cared about his family, his job, jazz, and about getting it right. I miss his stories of music, Jamaica, the Royal York Hotel, and his beloved Deany. I miss him telling me to “Hurry up….I’ve got to get home to cut the grass”. Thank you Joe….you got it right.
Deepest condolences. Joe was a terrific guy. May his memory be a blessing.
Joe Klepik epitomized humility, honour and respect. His example of quiet dignity is something I wish I had embraced more than I did.

It is with great sadness to say goodbye to Uncle Joe. I had the pleasure of Uncle Joe showing me his saxaphones and the many pictures of his Big Band events on our last visit to Calgary in April 2022
I know Uncle Joe and Auntie Deany are enjoying their reunion and have a rum together. Rest in peace!
