Condolences
I’m very sorry to hear of dear Barbara’s passing. My memories of her are few as I knew her when I was a little girl living in Calgary (my parents Sylvia and Volkmar were her friends). I strongly remember her voice and soft, gracious, warm energy. She always had poppyseed cake when we visited, which of course was an unforgettable highlight to me as a kid. I loved looking at all the little treasures and ornaments in her house and of course hearing her play the piano - that was a delight. My earliest piano memories are of her. My deepest condolences to her family. May her sweet soul Rest In Peace.
Sincerely,
Fiona Malena (Berlin, Germany)
Dear Ones,
I am missing my dear cousin, BARB. She was a special, loving cousin to me. Last time I was able to see her was about twelve years ago since I live in Portland. At that time we played music together, she on the piano and I on the violin. It was a very special time. I cried when I left to go home because I figured I would never see her again! I know is with God now.
Love you lots Barb
Dear Bernie, John, and all of Barbara’s Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
As you mourn the loss of your mother and grandmother may you find peace remembering the laughter and music that were so much a part of her life and which she shared so generously.
I am out of town but will offer a Mass for her.
God Bless all of you.
May she Rest In Peace and may you find comfort knowing she is with the Lord.
Fr. Greg

I did not personally know her, but I would like to extend my sympathies to all of you. I will pray the Office of the Dead for her. May she soon see the Lord face to face.
