Obituary of Gregory Mark Lang

March 23, 1959 – Yorkton, Saskatchewan

August 12, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Gregory Lang, of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the age of 63 years.

Gregory was born to Hellmut and Leona Lang in Yorkton, SK on March 23, 1959. He moved to Regina in 1970 when the family relocated and then eventually settled in Calgary where he resided until his passing.

Gregory was predeceased by his father Hellmut Lang. Gregory is survived by his mother Leona Lang, brothers, Tony (Sarojini) and Erich (Naho); sisters, Terri (Darren) and Amy Diane (Gilbert); as well as his niece Renata and nephews, Matthias, Isaak, and Jonah. Gregory’s close friend Kim was an ongoing support.

A private memorial service will be held in early September. He was well known in his community and kept busy volunteering countless hours for many different organizations. The family wishes to thank everyone who treated Greg with kindness and patience and who looked out for him.
