Condolences
I really enjoyed working with her and she is such a caring and positive-minded person. She is a wonderful woman. I will always remember her big smiles and greatly missed.
Our hearts and thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
My Husband and I were shocked to hear of Marianne's passing. We remember her as a very caring person. She always had a lovely smile when she greeted you. We enjoyed our chats especially when bumping into her on our walks along the ridge.Marianne will be greatly missed.
I had an opportunity to meet with Marianne regarding some work she was doing in support of Seniors and Caregivers, and it was obvious that her passion and compassion were focused on helping others. My sincere condolences to the family.
Thoughts and Prayers to all.

I am certainly in grief over the passing of Marianne. To me she was a wonderful friend and one that I will always have fond memories of.. We would always make the same time for our eye doctor appointments so we could go together. We wrote the Ogden Seniors book together with others and she asked me a little while ago if we could get started on the second one. She was always available if you needed a ride to a Doctors appointment or anywhere you had to go. A more giving person I do not know.
If someone needed help she was right there, even to help with the many problems that occur in a Club. I will miss her very much as many of us will.

Don - I was devastated to hear of Marianne's passing. She was a very special person and I so enjoyed her company. Whether it was a trip to Kelowna for a family wedding or just everyday times carpet bowling or Fit To Age she was a great inspiration and special friend. I will miss her very much!

Marianne worked with us when we were teaching seniors to conduct research as part of their interest in seniors run housing options in Ogden and Millican. The seniors interviewed local seniors about their ideas for options when they were ready to leave their home. They analyzed the data and the community presented their ideas but the City was not yet ready to turn decisions over to citizen. Their work is part of Grey Matter, about seniors as researchers and her picture and comments remain as a lasting memory. We will acknowledge her in the second edition.
She was such a powerful advocate for senior's rights and so generous with her time and ideas, we need more like her
I'm sorry to hear about Mariannes passing.
I met her 12 years ago and we had fun making the calendar in 2014.
Marianne always had a smile for everyone she met.
She will be be missed at Ogden House.
So sorry to hear about Mary Ann. She was a very nice person and a go getter. She did so much for the club. She was there to help
everyone. We all will miss her.
I only met Marianne a few years ago but I was very impressed with her great attitude and many interests. Quite the lady. My sincere condolences to the family and her many friends.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at the loss of your Mother, Don. I 'met' Marianne on line following our mutual interest in genealogy. We discovered that we are 4th cousins. We met in person in 2005 while I was traveling in Canada with my husband and had an enjoyable few days with Marianne and Hank. We met again in Feb 2010 when I flew from Western Australia, where I live, to Sydney to celebrate Marianne's & Hank's birthdays at Doyles on the Warf, Watsons Bay near the entrance to Sydney Harbour. Once again later that same year I spent a few days with Marianne & Hank while travelling in Canada. I will miss receiving the amusing and witty emails from Marianne. I pray the Lord will be with you in your time of sorrow. Love from Louise Sutherland
Our condolences to family and friends for dear Marianne. She was a super woman in our eyes.
Ed and I met Marianne and Hank in Beaver Dam Flats when Ed and I moved here from Montreal in 1977.
Rest in Peace Marianne.
Love Marjorie and Ed. Chester too, bow wow, he knew you always had treats.
My condolences withe the loss of Marianne. She was a very fine lady. I went with her and friends to Mexico and we had a very good time. Also we played golf and took cue dance lessons together. She was fun to be around. I wish the family much strength in this difficult time
