Celebration of Life
Condolences
My friend Rick Spittal just informed me of Dave's passing, Dave was a mentor to me when I joined the Saints in 1974, and he believed in me when a lot of others were less inclined to do so, and I ended up playing 10 good years with the Saints as a Prop Forward, much of it on the first team. One of my fondest memories is the England Trip that Dave Organized in 1978, where we closed by playing his old Team, Esher. Rest well Dave, you have earned it. Don
When I was introduced to the Saint's RFC in 1973 I was still in high school. Dave was one of the first to introduce himself and welcome me on the pitch for my very first game. Even as a runny nose rookie he treated me as as equal; he will be truly missed, my condolences to this family.

I have many amazing memories of Christmas dinners at the Lillywhites house. Dave and Pam always made us feel so welcome. Lots of laughing, food and games. Those are some of the most memorable memories I have of my childhood. Lots of hugs to the Lillywhite family. Anne (French) Heiligsetzer
Condolences to David's family. He was a true gentleman of the game. One of the first people I met when I joined the Saints in 76. He always had time for everyone. RIP David.
Safe journey home David to your beloved Pamela. May you Rest In Peace Eternally my Brother.
Condolences from all members of the original Calgary Police Rugby Club to the Lillywhite Family on your loss.
Bill Gentle. CPRC President .
My condolences on your loss. Dave was a kind and genuine man. I know how much he was loved by family and friends. I am grateful for all the opportunities Dave made possible when he started Costplan Management over 50 years ago! I enjoyed our Friday lunches when Dave (and Pam) were able to join. Rest in peace, mate. Col Jnr.
Condolences from the Spence Family,
We are sorry you have gone through so much in the past year or more.
Our memories are from a long time ago (on Gordon Dr), of an extremely busy family, always on the run, with sports and having fun a priority.
I remember both your mom and dad always having smiles on their faces, field hockey games, smelly rugby uniforms in the basement, and learning to cut oranges to be their juiciest and an apple to have a star.
I know they both left lasting impressions within the field hockey and rugby communities, as I have met people who played against their teams, and they still remember them both as having really hard teams to beat, but fun to play because of the good sportsmanship encouraged on their teams. The Lillywhite name is definitely remembered!
Lots of love to you all, Tracy Paffrath (Mark,Trevor, Brett & Riley)
And Wally & Lynn, and Mike Spence
My memories of Dave and Pam will always cheer me. Dave hired me at Commonwealth Constructions in 1968 fresh in Calgary from Australia and I later became Dave’s partner in Costplan Mgmt. He was a great bloke and loved by all. Go for that ‘try line’ Mate and be with your love. Col Snr.
