Dear Tanya, Katrina & Luke, I am profoundly saddened to hear of Corey's passing & for your loss of him. He was a great guy who always had a ready smile on his face & a friendly demeanour. I could see how much he valued all of you & what a great father & husband he was to your family. His ability to make Luke's friends feel comfortable speaks volumes about his character & that who is was in private he was equally in public. We as a family wish to express our sincerest sympathies to you & pray that you will have the support & love around you to carry you through this difficult time. May you be blessed with a flood of cherished memories of Corey's laughter, love & commitment to you all. May the pain of this day fade quickly so that you are left with the wonder of having had him as Dad, Husband & Best Friend. Deepest Sympathy, Beverly, Colin & Cora Berg
To the Janssen family:
I was saddened to learn of Corey’s passing, and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all. No doubt Corey will be dearly missed.
Although it’s been many years since I last saw Corey, upon reflection my heart was warmed with many fond memories from our younger years. As I continue to lift you up in prayer, may you also be blessed and comforted by your own special memories of this truly great guy.

I will miss Cory greatly, my sympathy goes out to Tania and his family. Cory was a great neighbor and it was wonderful to sit out front and watch him playing basketball in the driveway with the kids. Every time I watched his excitement while getting the trailer ready for the family to go camping it was easy to tell how much he enjoyed those moments of being able to get together and spend time with his family. As a cancer survivor and someone who is going through chemo once again as the cancer has come back it is easy to understand the battle that Cory and his family had in front of them. I have to say that I admire the fortitude that all members of his family have shown in dealing with this. It is definitely not an easy diagnosis, to live through, and to deal with. I hope that if Tania needs any help with anything that she will come across the street and let me help. As I mentioned before Cory is going to be greatly missed in this neighborhood as he was an integral part of all of us.
Tanya & Family,
My heart goes out to you for the loss of a great Man and a friend Corey was.
May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time.
My sincere condolences,
Eric Liniarski
Tanya, Katrina, Luke & Family,
I was saddened to learn of your tremendous loss this past week. I can tell you that I have only fond memories of Corey. We worked together at Nortel and played hockey with the Stingers for several years. Corey always had a smile on his face and a witty response whether it was at work, on the hockey rink or during the post-game “hot stove” banter in the dressing room. I remember that he would often hang out with us for a while in the dressing room after the game but he usually was one of the first to leave. I’m certain he enjoyed time with his friends & teammates, but he was always eager to get back home because there was something important going on with you either that evening or the next day. So it was pretty obvious where his #1 priority was – it was you – his family.
I hope that these words and your own special memories of Corey will in some small way ease the pain in your hearts and help you through this difficult time.

Tanya and family,
I am so sorry to hear of this tragic loss for your family. Your family was always so full and love and life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Dear Tanya & Family,
My sincere condolences to you all during this very difficult time.
I just wanted to share with you that I have only great memories of the time I got to spend with Corey and my days working with him at Nortel and playing hockey together on the Stingers. We had lots of great laughs together including a month or two adventuring in and around Melbourne in ~ 2000. In our conversations, many from the past while we lived in Calgary and unfortunately only a few recently since we moved to Regina, Corey always brought up his family and would ask about mine. Family always seemed to come ahead of the conversation about work, sports, hobbies, etc. It's something I'll always remember about Corey and will try even harder to apply in my life moving forward.
Again, my sincere condolences on a great man gone way too soon.
Sincerely,
Dean and Terri Clark
