I knew Don when we were both sharing some of our best years in our early twenties! I often think of when we recorded "The Power of Love" ( Huey Lewis ) in a small recording booth in Vancouver when we were out there performing with the Young Canadians for the Grey Cup. We became friends, I believe, on that trip. For 3 or 4 years I spent a lot of time with Don. He was always positive and encouraging to others, his laugh was infectious, and he LOVED performing. He was fun to be around. That's how I remember him. I am sorry our lives took us in different directions and I am so sad to hear of his passing. Although I haven't seen Don for more than 20 years, I want his family to know that he was a part of my life and is and always will be part of my memories - good memories - and I know many more people can say the same! Don - you are and will forever be a part of my story and you will be missed.
