Condolences
We are so very sorry for your loss. Helen will always hold a very special place in our hearts, as a kind, gracious and always giving person. She is always a fond memory when Greg and I think about our growing up years. With our deepest condolences. The Steinraths.
My deepest condolences to all the Makar family. I met Helen at the Manor Village at Varsity she was so kind and sweet. Helen would always mention how she was cold and I would love hugger her to warm her up and she always brought me cookies after her coffee chat or a banana after lunch. Helen will always hold a place in my heart.
Although I never met Helen, I heard so many wonderful stories of her commitment to family. I know she has left everyone with a hole in their hearts. Such a special lady. RIP Helen. Much love and hugs to everyone in the Makar family
I first met Helen Makar in 2018 when my wife and I moved into the Manor where she lived. We considered her a new friend and enjoyed time with her whether it was watching a movie, listening to music or having a meal together.
We often seen Helen either waiting at a bus stop or getting of a bus as she was returning from Market Mall. We offered to drive her to the mall when she needed to go but she refused, in her words because "she had a bus pass and needed to use it."
I can only say "Rest In Pease" Helen and enjoy your new beginning as a guardian Angel to those you left behind to use their bus pass!
