Condolences
Marie was one of the few adults who would actually take the time to listen to what a child had to say. She was kind, beautiful and had a big influence on my life. I wanted to become a secretary -- just like Auntie Marie -- and that's what happened. She gave the best presents ever -- always something unique. I loved her dearly. Marie's delightful laugh still rings in my ears. Rest in peace.
Well hello my classy, unique, humorous, kind, thoughtful Auntie Marie!! I hope you are having a wonderful time with your older sister, Clara Evelyn and of course with our dear Nana Olson, your strong and funny mother.
I'm having a hard time realizing I can't hold your beautiful and slender piano hands anymore!!
Your gorgeous lounge voice...you missed your calling!!
I hope any niece or nephew could have the most crazy, unpredictable, hilarious memories that yours did with you!!!
My love for you, I can remember from 3 until today at 66! Thank you Marie. I will miss you until we meet again.
My wife Angie and I are very saddened at the passing of Marie Olson. Marie was a wonderful, caring and thoughtful aunt my entire life. She never missed birthdays, Christmas and other special occasions. You always felt good being around her. She was a classy, beautiful lady. I remember the special times as a kid when she visited us or when we visited her in the U.S. In later years I visited her at every opportunity when I was in Calgary. At the George Boyack Carewest home, we would sing songs together. I Left My Heart in San Francisco, Moon River and Love Me Tender were the regulars we repeatedly sang together (as I read the lyrics on my I-Phone). She would kiss my hand throughout. We love you Marie. You will never leave our thoughts.
