Obituary of John Edward Morck
January 15, 1948 - October 4, 2022
John slept away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 after a short illness at the age of 74 years. John was a lifelong educator, from teaching High School math to doing Corporate Project Management Training.
John and Marg (Peden) enjoyed the mountains, summer, and winter. John especially loved the wildflowers. For many years, John was an active member of Calgary Weekend Hikers, Norseman Ski Club and Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club.
Left to cherish his wonderful memory are Marg, his wife and soulmate for 43 years; siblings, Irene (Mogens Nielsen), Ruthie (Bill Casey) David (Hildegard Willkomm), Paul, Eunice (Ron Phaneuf), and Phil (Marie); six nieces; the Peden family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Marion and Pastor Archie Morck, and sister-in-law Barb Morck.
