Logan Middlemiss of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the age of 91 years, leaving his loving and devoted wife Sheilah with a broken heart.
 
Logan is survived by his daughter, Linda (Joao); oldest son, Kelly (Michelle); youngest son, Keith; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. Logan is also survived by his two stepsons, Jon James (Mona), and Richard James (Careen); and his step grandchildren, Logan and Aiden. He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law, Jon Heaney, his partner John Cowan; and his sister-in-law, Marilyn Heaney; as well as his nephew and several nieces.
 
Logan was a born and raised Calgarian, the second youngest of six children. A giant of a man and a true cowboy at heart, Logan had a soft spot for animals, especially his horses. He loved to dance and was fiercely proud of his Scottish heritage. Logan had a passion for golf and was a long-time member of the Inglewood Golf and Country Club. Logan excelled at golf as was evident by his trophy case, his many club championships and even a few holes-in-one.
 
Logan had a larger-than-life personality and will be remembered as a man of many words and a formidable debater. He loved to share his many stories and experiences with his friends and family. His witty yet mischievous sense of humor will not soon be forgotten.
 
Logan had an ingenious ability to fix, build or do just about anything he set his mind to. On any given day you could find Logan fixing something in his beloved garage or tinkering with one thing or another around the house. Logan was always willing to share his infinite wisdom by lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it.

Logan was an amazing man and will be missed by all that knew him.
