Hi Fran, Scott, Maureen and families,
I just heard today of Mike's passing and wanted to extend my thoughts to all of you. I remember many great discussions and times of laughter with Fran and Mike and Mike was always kind to me. Thank you for being great neighbours.
I am certain Mike was surrounded by love during his illness and that you had lots of family support. May fond memories carry you through any hard times and bring smiles to you in future years.
Hello Fran,
I was sad to hear of Mike's passing and my condolences to you and your family.
I have fond memories of Mike on the piano at Calgary Bar functions and of the times that we got together in the fall with Neil Marshall and others to make mincemeat.
Mike was a good man who enjoyed life and we were all the better having known him.

Fran, Maureen & Scott,
Our hearts go out to you & your family members. There are no words we can pass on to help you through this. Michael was a husband, companion, father & grandfather - so special to so many. But as a friend, he was a bright light in our lives that cannot be replaced. Always faithful, helpful & giving of himself - especially at a party! Full of mischief & ready to involve his friends in that mischief! From Fairmont to Napa, San Francisco , to overnights on the farm - a delight to have with us; his boyish mischief always kept in line by dear Fran. We will never forget the joy he brought to our Mama with his impromptu serenading on the piano & the two of them singing "That's Amore". We were so lucky to have him in our lives & will miss him dearly. Love you Michael.
He shall be missed. Always the entertainment at family get togethers. Loved his positive outlook on life, and his sense of humor.

Dear Fran,
Peter and I send our thoughts and prayers for the loss of Mike.
I remember Mike going to the Rosedale School to play Christmas carols for the kids. Our son and daughter were there at the time. Mike was a gifted musician and it was wonderful that he shared it so generously.
Little did we know when we met you and Mike all those years ago in Fredericton that together we’d be creating memories and adding to them for a lifetime. Neither the distance between us nor the passing of years had diminished the enjoyment of getting together to update on new adventures or family activities or to reminisce on the old ones.
To Fran, Scott, and Maureen we express our deepest sympathy on Mike’s passing - he was a great guy.

My deepest sympathy to Fran and family. We met in Fredericton when Mike and Peter were classmates in Law School. I'll always remember how we were welcomed when we arrived in Calgary on our way to explore Yellowknife. As the years went by we visited back and forth from Yellowknife and Victoria, and travelled together to Spain My most recent memory of Mike was the year I was buying a new Smart Car and Mike teasing that I would need a leash to ensure it would not run away. Treasured memories about treasured friends.
Sincerely, LowellAnn Fuglsang

Words cannot do justice to your lost love, Michael.
I met Michael a few decades ago , through business and over time our relationship turned into friendship. Over the years, along with Fran we have enjoyed food, music, libations and being with one another together. I always enjoyed going for the mcycke rides.
We will miss him, he was a very special guy
Dear Fran and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. We have such good memories of him- his sense of humour in particular. Our trip to Turkey was such a joy- he kept us in stitches the whole journey, and his piano concert near Noah's Ark was unforgettable, as was he.
Our hearts are with you all.
