Condolences
Irv, so sorry to hear about you passing from one of your CNRL friends, you've been a great mentor and friend, my deepest thoughts and condolences to your family, sorry you had to suffer from this dreadful disease (Cancer), enjoyed our time at United Way and Westcoast Energy. Under your leadership we did the Atkin Creek project (Jedney 1&2 and Highway) under WGSI, on budget and one month later from the projected Atkin Creek schedule after all the challengers we had. As a young engineer I couldn't of done it without your leadership and mentorship, I thank you so much for the Bonus you gave me for our accomplishments. You are a genuine sole, great to know you and to work with you! Rest in Peace.

Dear Maureen, Heather, and Allison,
I'm so sorry to hear about Irv's passing. I always have fun memories of our chats over the fence. He was a great jokester and storyteller. He will be missed.

Dear Maureen and Family - Our deepest sympathy and condolences on Irv’s passing. He taught a very hard battle and sadly lost the fight! We worked briefly with Irv at Mobil Oil but even after he left there, we would still all get together and socialize. Irv had a terrific sense of humour and loved telling risqué jokes & stories. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. May all your memories of the past sustain you during this difficult time. Rest In Peace Irv!
Sincerely, Ilyne & George
Dear Maureen & Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Irv's passing. Irv was a wonderful neighbour to have. Growing up my main memories of Irv are when he was telling a joke or relating a funny story. He always had a twinkle in his eye and was very friendly. We couldn't have asked for better neighbours! Big hugs as you all navigate this difficult time.
Love,
Laura Ziegler (Thompson)
Dear Maureen ,
I’m so very sorry for your loss!
Remembering how funny Irv was and also so proud telling me,since I’m German, that his ancestry came from Germany.
Before we all were scattered around in the world, I remember the good times we had as a group of friends in Calgary and Irv with his jolly personality. I’m also so very happy, that we had the reunion 4 years ago!
With Love
Inge
Hi Maureen, I was literally shocked to learn about the untimely passing away of dear Irv. I remember him from the time when we were young and enjoyed various private and Mobil parties. One of the memories (I wonder why one ordinary event sticks in your brain) is when Irv helped me move from my apartment to my first house. He rented and drove the truck with all my belongings. Only true friends do.
It was good that I was able to see him and you in Calgary four years ago. He was jolly as ever.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. May he rest in peace.
Anshu
