“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” ~ Audrey Hepburn
To the Ramsden family, and especially to Laura, I am so sorry about the loss of your grandmother. Grandmothers are remarkable women. They are a wonderful combination of warmth and kindness, laughter and love. From their warm hugs to their sweet stories, they remember all of your accomplishments and forget your mistakes. Grandmas always made you feel she had been waiting to see just you all day which made her day complete. They give us hope and inspire us to be our best selves. A grandmother's love is forever and always.
In the twenty-plus precious years, I have known Laura, I’ve become ever more aware of the attributes and characteristics sown in Laura by her mother, father, and grandmother, gifts such as kindness, generosity, charity and humility. I consider myself blessed to have been allowed to discover how deep these gifts transcend into her soul. Passionate, steadfast, discerning, aware, observing injustices and advocating for issues she feels strongly about, and using all of her energy, until others were made to understand. These qualities, I have no doubt were passed on by Laura's parents & grandparents, to make her, the exceptional woman she is today.
I will continue to pray for you, your family, and your Gram. I will ask the Lord, if there are roses that grow in heaven. Please pick a bunch and place them in your Gram's arms and tell her they're from you. Tell her, she loves and misses her. And when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
“Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, even though they die, will live forever...” John 11:25.
May there always be an angel by your side.

Words will not suffice about my love for my Gramma. She was my friend, my teacher, my constant, and my biggest joy. I will miss her every day, forever. I hold close the abundance of incredible memories she’s left me. I am eternally grateful for every second I had with her. Gramma, may you rest easy in grace and love.
