Condolences
Rest in peace young lady. My sympathies to your family and friends.
A retired firefighter.
I remember when I watched Jaxon and Montana argue. That day I ended up talking to Montana and we made a promise, she told me "If anything happens to me, take care of Jaxon for me" and that's exactly what I did. We made that promise in February 2022. Rip Montana...
I live out west and heard the story on CBC News.
I feel grief and sorrow for this beautiful girl and her family. I think about this one a lot for some reason.
It's so sad and makes me so darn angry. If I knew your family I would just say we love you.
What a beautiful gift Montana was to the world to give us all the reminder to love deeply and fiercely. May God comfort your heart. I am a mom of 2 who just happened to read your story and cant stop thinking about you all. My son was recently spared in a terrible car accident (he is 25) and is recovering. May angels be with you. You are in my prayers for strength.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. What an unfortunate gift you were given in her last moments. How fortunate to comfort her when she needed it most...my heart hurts for you all.... Rest In Peace Sweet girl....<3

Im so very sorry for your loss.... as a school bus driver Montana was a passenger of mine for one year and not once did she get on or off the bus without a friendly greeting or pleasant Thank You. Such a terrible loss of a very sweet young lady
I'm from Missouri so I didn't have the privilege of knowing Montana. She sure sounds like she was an amazing young lady. My heart is breaking for you and all that loved her. Montana, has left a lot of good memories for you all to cherish. Sending prayers for all of you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept our condolences from the McMahon family (previously members of the Foothills Stingrays). Michael McMahon swam with Montana during her time with the club. Michael was a bit older (now 23) but he vividly remembers Montana, as do I. She had a wonderful spirit from my memory with volunteering with swim meets and being an active parent in the club. She will be sorely missed. Again, please accept our condolences and RIP Montana.
I am reading this in Ohio , i am so sorry for your loss, and I know how you must feel , treating a patient and not knowing they are a loved one. That is so hard to hanndle. You are great for your service. My heart hurts for you. I am sorry and will.pray for you all.
I didn’t know Montana or the family. I only wanted to offer my condolences, my deepest sympathies, for the loss of such a beautiful young woman. I will do a special smudge for Montana on Tuesday. May the Creator take her spirit and make it the brightest star that guides her friends and family who are grieving. xo
I have such a vivid memory of playing at Montana’s house when her mom walked in and asked if we wanted anything to drink, my eyes lit up when Montana told me they had lemonade. I never had lemonade at my house, so I was so excited, and Montana’s house automatically became the cool house. Unfortunately, I moved away before we could become closer, but her spunky spirit still holds such a special place in my heart. I’m sending all of my love to the family, and I will always remember Montana when I drink lemonade.
I am reading this in Virginia. So very sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you after reading your story. Montana was beautiful and I know, had to be an amazing young lady. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

I hope you will find comfort and peace in knowing, that Montana was loved by many people and will always have a place in their hearts. Sincere condolences from Germany.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I am in Beaumont, Texas reading this and crying my eyes out.
Montana was my best friend at Good Shepard. We did everything together, hung out at recess, gym class, any school projects we did together. I remember her as a strong, kind and passionate woman and that’s how she will be remembered by me and those she knew. Rest easy Montana ❤️
Muito triste para uma mãe perder seu filho. Não é a ordem cronológica natural. Meus sentimentos, querida mãe. Força e paz para prosseguir.
Mi dispiace molto, riposi in pace piccola stella e dai conforto ai tuoi genitori. Italia
Montana and I were close friends in swimming. By favourite memory of us was attending Mansask and Alberta summer games together. She was a spunky and very outgoing girl. She kept me (and all our friends) awake until 2am right before our 7am swim meet at Mansask. She was also the best travel buddy when we went to summer games together, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to be there. She was such a supportive teammate, and always knew how to cheer me up.
I remember Jayme telling a story back when we were in paramedic school about getting Montana some ski boots for Christmas. She laughed as she said that she asked Montana to try on some ski boots for her mom (and she had no idea they were for her). Jayme chuckled telling us how she was happy saying “ok mom” and then being surprised when she got them for Christmas. It was a very cute little story that made us smile. Sending Jayme and Sean tons of love during this difficult time. My deepest condolences.
We have such fond memories of Montana with her dad Jeff and Jodie, hiking, camping, swimming. She was such a trooper, ready to try anything, never complained about being cold, even when swimming in a cold lake or sitting on Jeff’s shoulders netting crabs in the surf in Masset. We are so lucky to have spent time with Montana and we were so sad to hear about her accident. Our condolences to Jeff, Jodie and everyone else who loved Montana.
Our daughter Caitlin was friends with Montana and they swam on the same team. We were lucky enough to have her stay in our home when Jayme and Shaun went on their honeymoon. She fit right in. She was funny, caring and loving beyond words. Her smile was infectious. She is missed so much.
when we swam together she was my other half, she was always laughing and goofing around and I couldn’t help it but join in with her, we grew an unbreakable bond in and out of the pool
I can’t remember a time when she wasn’t smiling or laughing, she was so joyful and out going
Miss you Montana, love you forever and always❤️

When Montana’s Dad ( Jeff Dobry ) met Montana she was 3 years old, instantly fell in love and adopted her. They had over 10 years of amazing memories hiking mountains and sharing the love of the outdoors. Montana was a beautiful and gifted girl and we will never forget her.
We hope Montana’s family can find peace in their hearts.
Xoxo Dad, Jodie, Mila and Zealin
