Condolences
My dear Mrs. Tebo,
It is a great sadness to learn that you recently passed away. Tears to my eyes. I still remember that you taught me English 31 years ago at Western Canada High School. Your support, caring, and compassion gave me hope and helped me feel welcome in Canada. You had made a great positive impact on my adolescent years. I truly appreciate for your guidance and support. I am so sorry that I did not have a chance to take care of you as promised over 1/4 century ago. I often thought about you and wished you well. I will miss you dearly!
May you rest in peace!
My deepest condolences to your family and friends.
Love,
Your student - Catherine Truong (Nguyen)
I taught with Mary at Western Canada High School. Mary was the consummate professional with both students and colleagues.
She was always incredibly patient, helpful, and caring. To say nothing of intelligent and insightful. Our world has lost a special person. Lee Hunt

On behalf of the Calgary Bridge Community, Unit 390 - please accept our sincere condolences on hearing of Mary's passing. We have a multitude of fond memories of Mary, and she will be truly missed.
I met Mary through duplicate bridge. She introduced me to Literary Kaleidosope Book Club where I got to read some books that I wouldn't have otherwise chosen but enjoyed. She was an avid reader and we had great discussions on books. She was very intelligent, the ultimate lady without being prim and proper, and had great taste. She was always so well put together. I feel so grateful that we crossed paths and she was in my life. I just loved her and will miss her dearly.
