Condolences
I was so saddened to hear of Glen's death today. I lived next door on Anne Avenue while Glen and I went to high school together and then onto the University of Alberta where we would see one another as we adjusted to life on a large campus away from home. While we haven't seen one another for many years, I will always remember Glen's kind heart and quiet smile. My most heartfelt condolences to all of you.

I just recently found out about Glenn’s passing. We were close friends throughout junior and senior high school. We shared many great experiences including many adventures in the back country and a summer road trip to Alaska after graduating from Henry Wise Wood. Although we lost touch over the years, I enjoyed reconnecting at a high school reunion 5 years ago. I was surprised and saddened to hear of Glenn’s passing and wish to extend my condolences to his friends and family
I was very sad to read of Glenn’s passing. We were born a month apart and lived across the street from one another on Anne Avenue. He was my first and best friend for the first eight years of our lives. We remained friends through high school and, after I moved from Calgary, saw each other from time to time, sometimes on camping trips organized by our friend, Bruce Abugov. He is gone too soon and I will miss not seeing him again. Cathy, Rob and Ian, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. My thoughts are of Glenn today. David
To Rob and Ian - we were very sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Glenn. Growing up as neighbours in Britannia for 25+ years and attending both Elboya and Wisewood we remember Glenn with fondness. We send our sympathies to his wife and loved ones. May he rest in peace.

My first memory of Glenn was when I was about 7 years old and he was tasked with babysitting me at his family house. It was the first time I was allowed to stay up late and in doing so, was able to enjoy his company and watch a movie about fire fighters. That was the first of many great memories made with Glenn ... and his dad. While fishing was always a highlight, the most memorable experience was heading up Tanglefoot Creek with the two of them on motorbikes. After Uncle Grumps realized the bike had gears - he and Glenn took off up the logging road. When I crested the rise, I saw both bikes on their side with their back wheels spinning: Uncle Grumps had dumped the bike and Glenn had jumped off to make sure his dad was ok! All worked out well but the adventure included him cleaning some cuts in the creek then continuing on to the lake where they flagged down a helicopter for a first aid kit.
While I lost touch with Glenn a number of years ago, I was reminded of his good spirit and his impact on my life when reading the obituary. I am sad to read of his passing and wish I had seen him again when I moved back to Calgary. My thoughts are with his brothers, Cathy and all who are affected by the loss.
With loving thoughts.
