Condolences
My most heartfelt condolences to you, Arlene, and all the family. You must have so many wonderful memories. I got to know well Eugene's positive attitude and sense of humour , over a span of just one year. We lived across the hall from each other, that first year of teaching in Wynyard, over 50 years ago. We shared a lot of stories and some food that year. The best memory was of the knock on my door one evening, when Eugene and Arlene came to announce their engagement. They even allowed me to take a photo of them, by the light of just one candle. It was great to meet again a few years ago through mutual friends in Calgary.
So sorry to hear about Eugene. I have memories of Arlene and Eugene when they lived in Norquay. Sympathy to all the family. Judy ( Sorochuk) and Eugene Patenaude

The Sorochuks were Neighbors and friends from the Arabella area! I remember all of them even though I was a lot younger. But my siblings were of Eugenes age. Your Baba and Gido were such fine people
It sounds like Eugene lived a full and successful life
Our sincere sympathy to you!

Dear Arlene and family, Mr Sorchuk was always one of my favourite teachers. I always remember that chipmunk grin and smiling eyes..he was always ready for a chuckle. My prayers are with you at this time.
My sympathy to Arlene and all your family. I remember all the fun times we had when we visited you when you were in Wynyard and the last time we stayed with you when we were at the Calgary Stampede. Our families were so close and Eugene will be truly missed.
