Obituary of Carol Edith Casper

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carol Edith (Stark) Casper who passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the age of 71 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Connie (Trevor); one sister and two brothers; and a large extended family. She was predeceased by a special girl Meredith, spouse Don Griffith and her parents.
She was an avid gardener, baker, and quilter. Her house and garden were a mass of blooms and wonderful smells. She and Don were long-time supporters of the Calgary Horseshoe Club and the Alberta Horseshoe Pitchers Association and travelled extensively to various tournaments in Canada and USA. She was especially fond of the flowers of Hawaii and travelled there often to enjoy the blooms. She was a casino advisor for more than 20 years and had many friends.

Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at Calgary Horseshoe Club (4310 – 78 Ave SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
