Condolences
Dear Terrance
So terribly sorry to read about the loss of your mom. We knew her as your neighbours in Briar Hill. Your mom was always so kind to us, and I still have a bracelet that Mary
Anne gave to me when we moved to Edmonton. We are thinking of you. Sincerely, Pat, Brian and Graham Breakey
Our deepest condolences to your family at this time. We have fond memories of both of your parents. Your spunky mom will be dearly missed. Hope your memories give you comfort.

Dearest Kutryk family,
“My heartfelt sympathy to the grieving family “
I am one of the health care aide who work to Elsie since 2018 and I am very grateful that I served Elsie on her last night before she joined our Father heaven. During my last night with Elsie, I am happy that she open her eyes widely knowing that I’m with her on that night (December 02, 2022). For almost 4 years working, I feel she wait for my night shift, I really love Elsie and in my heart If I will given a chance to take care of her, I’ll do it over and over again. Being with her in the farm house is a great experience talking this kind-hearted, smart, and God-fearing lady. Elsie fond current news every morning and reading subtitles, I always open a conversation asking what is the meaning of the words that she is reading and she explained to me very well. She even help me about the history of Canadian culture when I’m asking about my Canadian citizenship test. I remember when Elsie having a hard time remembering things, I always mention Terrance to her and somehow she remembers. And, I felt that Elsie love Terrance so much.
Honestly, I still miss Elsie up to this time because she is being part of my daily life. But, deep in my heart, I know that she in the better place.
Love lots,
Cindy
Dear Terrance, I never met your mother but you did share with me several stories about her. I now know much more about her incredible life thanks to the obit and video which are both so well done. Losing one's mom is a very difficult experience regardless of her age. Please accept our sympathy to you and your family. You will never regret being with her to the end. Bob and Louise Quart.

Elsie was my sister who cared like a mother for me and my other sister, Olga, during our high school years in Calgary while my parents were farming in the Shepard, Alberta area at a time when high school grades were not available to be taught. She was an exemplary citizen of Canada and proud of her ancestral Ukrainian heritage. During one of my last visits with her during her dying days, she recalled a picture of herself in Ukrainian traditional dress that was displayed in a store front window on Stephen Avenue, Calgary by a photographer who was experimenting with the making of multi colour pictures before colour prints of photographs became the norm. Elsie participated in youth organizations and in a Ukrainian dance group for several concerts in Calgary, which toured also to perform in Edmonton.
